It’s been awhile since I’ve made a protein smoothie. I got a little tired of all the effort it takes to blend it all, so I stopped. However, since I’ve been doing a lot of strength training I figured, why not? The more protein, the merrier. I was eating the fruit raw anyway so I figured it couldn’t hurt to jazz things up a bit and add some protein to the mix. I felt like I wasn’t getting enough anyway. The fiber from the fruit and protein from the powder proved to be very filling, so this smoothie is a very tasty and healthy mid-afternoon snack.
I usually blend two at a time and drink them on days I do heavy resistance training to make sure my muscles are being properly fed!
Alright, that’s about it! Please enjoy the recipe! Let me know if you try it out in the comments! Thanks!
